Moody & Modern Bathroom Reconfiguration | Smart Design for a Small Space
This once-cramped bathroom featured the classic “wall-between-the-vanity-and-shower” layout that chopped up the room and blocked natural flow. We completely reconfigured the space to maximize openness, function, and style. This transformed bath proves that even small spaces can be smart, stunning, and full of personality.
Project Highlights:
- Removed the dividing wall to open the entire bathroom and improve light and flow
- Relocated the shower to the rear for a more intentional, elevated layout
- Built a custom linen cabinet that adds major storage while cleverly concealing the upstairs vent and drain line—doubling as a hidden soffit wall
- Designed a stunning floating marble vanity with dramatic veining for a bold, modern statement
- Finished the cabinetry and walls in a rich, earthy green for depth, warmth, and cohesion
- Added moody crane-pattern wallpaper for a sophisticated dose of drama
- Incorporated brushed brass fixtures, sconces, and hardware for elegant contrast
- Completed the design with frameless shower glass and intentional lighting to keep the room feeling spacious and inviting
