We’re Chris and Yvonne, the husband-and-wife duo behind Reclaimed Karma, a boutique design + build firm based in Marietta, Georgia. Specializing in luxury full home design and renovations, new builds, light commercial projects, and project management. We bring passion, creativity, and a little bit of good karma to everything we do!
How It All Began
Our story kicked off back in 2014 when we bought our first family home. Chris called it his “Dream Home.” Me? Well, let’s just say it was more of a “work in progress”…It needed a serious overhaul!
We hired a contractor to help with the renovations, but unfortunately, he left us high and dry, with our house literally torn up from the floor up. At the time, it felt like a nightmare, but looking back, it was one of the best things that could have happened to us. Why? Because it pushed Chris to teach himself MEPS, framing, and custom woodworking. He sharpened his carpentry, contracting and project management skills, while I was able to channel my love for all things design.
What started as a personal mission to transform our house into a home quickly evolved into a true passion—and just like that, Reclaimed Karma was born!
We started by building custom furniture for clients, but soon enough, we found ourselves handling full home and commercial renovations. Our journey from DIY to Pro has been nothing short of incredible, and we’re excited to bring that same energy to your project!
Big Dreams and Opportunities
A few years ago, we hit a major milestone when we were invited to star in a nationwide TV show called “Reclaimed Reno”—how cool is that?! Since then, we’ve had the pleasure of partnering with brands like The Home Depot, Habitat for Humanity, Scotts, Loctite, Buildertrend-just to name a few! These partnerships have only fueled our passion to keep creating amazing spaces.
What We Believe In
When we’re not on-site building, creating, and renovating, you’ll find us sharing our DIY projects on social media, giving tips from our workshop, and documenting our everyday life. We’re all about community, collaboration, and creativity.
We also believe strongly in the power of good karma—which is why it’s part of our name. We’re all about doing right by people, treating every project with care and respect, and creating spaces that not only look great but feel like home. What goes around comes around, and we strive to put out nothing but good vibes.
